About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to own our infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines. You’ll build and maintain the systems that enable fast, reliable delivery of our AI-powered manufacturing platform, from developer experience to production monitoring. This role requires US citizenship for GovCloud and ITAR-regulated infrastructure access.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions): build, test, deploy for Elixir, Python, and C# components
  • Manage Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS EKS, including Karpenter-based autoscaling, node selectors, and multi-workload scheduling (CPU and GPU pods)
  • Build and maintain Docker images for multiple environments: Elixir releases, Python AI nodes (CPU/GPU variants), and development containers
  • Manage AWS infrastructure: EKS, ECR, RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, KMS, WAF, CloudFront, and Secrets Manager
  • Support GovCloud deployments: maintain parity with commercial infrastructure under ITAR constraints
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability: Datadog/OpenTelemetry, Sentry, log aggregation
  • Improve developer experience: local development environments, SSH remote development, and CI/CD speed
  • Manage security tooling: GuardDuty, Inspector, Security Hub, and SOC 2 compliance infrastructure

Requirements

  • 6+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure experience
  • Experience with Karpenter, Argo CD, Helm
  • Strong AWS experience: EKS, ECR, S3, RDS, IAM, and networking
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production, deployment strategies, resource management, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions preferred)
  • Docker expertise: multi-stage builds, image optimization, registry management
  • US citizenship or Green Card (required for GovCloud and ITAR-regulated infrastructure)
  • Linux systems administration skills

Bonus

  • Experience with AWS GovCloud
  • SOC 2 or ITAR compliance experience
